Domestic LPG prices were increased by ₹29 per cylinder in June. Since that revision, household cylinder rates have remained unchanged in Delhi and several other major cities.

At the same time, shipments from some of India's traditional Gulf suppliers have declined sharply.

Imports from the UAE during August were reported at approximately 140,000 tonnes, while supplies from Qatar stood at around 60,000 tonnes. LPG imports from Saudi Arabia were reported to be zero during both July and August.
